June 2020 Newsletter

Updated: Mar 3, 2021

As our world’s problems are further highlighted and our feeling of drifting through a sea of dread deepens, we must continue to do all that we can to help all of those in our communities who are in need. It is extremely important that we all come together to work towards remedies and solutions for our unfortunate plethora of problems. We must recognize the problems our brothers and sisters are facing, and we must take action in order to aid support them.

In the month of June we continued supporting our community, shelter home and people in need:

  • Provided Sack Meals, Tents & other necessity items to Hesed House for their Street Outreach Program.

  • Continued providing weekly food, snacks and meals, and other needed items to Hesed House.

  • Collected food & essential items for donations and distribute to the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry, Hesed House, and other local organizations who support those in need

  • KS Foundation Youth Team Launched their first event “KS Foundation Youth Team 4th of July Food Drive” in which Youth team will collect food donations that will be distributed to many local organizations who support the underprivileged

With the support of our team and all those in the community who support the KS foundation, we are able to do our small part in the large world. When we all come together to make small changes, eventually, we are able to change the world. Even during these times, we are able to unite and deal with the many unfortunate and fundamental problems of the world. Dealing with these issues is more of a marathon rather than a sprint. As the deep and immense pile of the world’s unfortunate faces are chipped away at, we must not slow or stop.

Thanks to the many donors, volunteers, and other precious supporters of the KS Foundation, we were able to provide aid to many underprivileged individuals. We hope to continue to be able to provide aid for others, and we hope you all continue to keep the spirit of change within you. Together We Can Do Better.
