Without the ability to connect on a small scale, nothing is able to be accomplished. Regardless of all of the macro and broad goals, people need to get together and work in order for progress to be made. It is essential people understand that their actions -- regardless of how small they may initially seem -- have an impact of some sort and absolutely have the ability to create a butterfly effect. Genuine, everyday change is achievable on the local level, but this requires that people like you take the initiative and begin working towards progress.
During the month of April, we were able to support our communities by:
Organizing a canned food drive through the Youth Team of KS Foundation
Establishing the Hope to Breathless fundraiser in order to provide assistance to India to get through their COVID-19 situation
Distributing an Indian Vaisakhi dinner at Hesed House
Setting up a pizza lunch at Hesed House
Donating Panera goods and providing a monthly meal at Lazarus House
Supplying 50+ gallons of milk to Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry
We are greatly appreciative of all of those who come into contact with KS Foundation. Without these individuals, KS Foundation would be barely an afterimage of its current version. We thank all the donors, volunteers, and other supporters for all that they do. Additionally, we call upon you to get more involved in your local communities and to make a positive impact.
As always, we have received immense support from the community in these difficult times for India. Please come forward and support OUR CAUSE.
