May 2020 Newsletter

Updated: Mar 3, 2021

Since the breakdown of the COVID-19 Pandemic KS Foundation and its volunteer team are working endless hours to provide support to our community and organization in need.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many families and professionals, and in these challenging times, KS Foundation and its volunteer team took the initiative to Celebrate MONTH OF MAY as Appreciation Month for our frontline Nurses, Teacher’s, and Mother’s Day.

We ran a very successful fund-raising event on Facebook to raise funds to support and provide necessary services to our nurses, teachers, and mothers living in all the communities.

As of the 75th Day of COVID-19 Pandemic KS Foundation and its volunteer team have been continuously provided services to the community in need such as:

  • Delivered more than 14,500 Meals to needy, underprivileged, and many local organizations.

  • Delivered more than 2500 Care-Bags to our frontline professionals.

  • Distributed more than 2500 handmade masks to needy and seniors.

  • Collecting & buying food for food pantries to stock-up, such as Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry.

  • Distributing Cooked Food provided by a local restaurant to Hesed House, Lazarus House, and Senior living of Naperville.

  • Donated Hand-Sanitizer with support from Chicago Kali Bari Temple.

  • Helping international students with food & grocery and any help they need.

  • Running errands for Seniors & others in need & more...

We would like to thank our local restaurant owners such as Shimla Peppers, Ashyana Catering, and Jigar’s Kitchen for coming forward and supporting KS Foundation to help feed the needy.

We at K.S. Foundation have been diligently providing services to the community we live in and to our Frontline Healthcare Workers at various hospitals, services to under-privileged / needy people, shelter homes, and Seniors living in their homes along with our love and gratitude.

We strongly urge each of you to keep these less fortunate, needy, and underprivileged people in your mind and do all you can to provide a helping hand where and whenever possible. If anyone needs help please share our Contact, we are here to help anyone in need.

To volunteer please reach out to us.

Stay Safe, Stay Strong & Healthy.
