Happy 1st Anniversary KS Foundation! We at KS Foundation recognized our community's problem in Pandemic. With that realization, we understood the need to combat these issues and support those in need. We then mobilized and began organizing to develop a charity with the mission of nourishing the hungry, inspiring the broken, and empowering the underprivileged. Using our burning passion, we ignited the machine of change. Using our unwavering dedication, we pushed forward the plane of progress.
The KS Foundation's fruition has created glimmers of hope in this challenging year that helps all of us continue to push past the obstacles we face. During the year 2020, we were able to assemble and support our communities in various ways. Whether it be serving meals, distributing care bags for essential frontline workers, providing groceries to families in need, or teaching kids in India and Kenya, KS Foundation did whatever they could to give out a helping hand. Some events that are worth highlighting due to their enormous impact in the community are the Youth Team 4th of July food drive, water drive that resulted in a donation of 3000+ water bottles to Hesed House, holding a KS Foundation Hunger Action Month Donation Drive to raise awareness and collect donations to fight the rampant hunger problem, and organizing a Youth Team Diwali Fundraiser to collect proceeds for local homeless shelters by selling diyas. We have continuously supported local food pantries, healthcare workers, senior citizens, and other community members who need our assistance.
With that being said, we have only been able to do so much because of all the people who helped us come this far. Our generous donors, encouraging volunteers, and all other valuable supporters, we much appreciate you all from our fantastic team. With tremendous goals and lengthy plans, a combined effort is the only way to tackle our mission. By working together, we have impacted our communities and created positive change.
With the first year of the KS Foundation coming to a successful end, we promise to continue our work to improve and aid our communities. We promise to continue our great efforts to impact those around us substantially.
To do so, we count on your participation in our mission to bring about such positive change. With your support, we will follow through on our objective. By working with one another, we can strengthen our communities and help each other. Together, we will make the future brighter and more promising. Thank you
